Iara Ananda Romano and Naira de Almeida Prado
IARA ANANDA ROMANO
Iara Ananda is Patricia´s daughter and started learning Classical Indian Dance at the tender age of 10. She was born in 1986 and, being her mother a dance teacher, she was always involved with Art.
Nowadays, she is one of the best exponents in Indian Dance in Brazil and teaches at the Brazilian Natyalaya. She also has a special taste for Classical Indian Music and has been performing with many famous artists, like Ratnabali Adhikari, Marcus Santurys and Raj Rangayyan.
In 2004 she lived during 5 months in the main School in Kerala with the Guru Kalamandalam Sumathi learning Classical music and dance. She lived also 1 month in the Ashram Gurudev Siddha Peet in Maharashtra State. In 2009 again she stayed both with Kalamandalam Sumathi and in the Ashram
Since 2008 she is cordinating with Naira the Brazilian branch
NAIRA DE ALMEIDA PRADO
Naira de Almeida Prado started her studies in Indian Classical Dance when she was just 11 years old and nowadays is also considered one of the best exponents in Indian Dance in Brazil.
Along with Iara, in 2004 Naira lived 3 months in the main School in Kerala with Guru Kalamandalam Sumathi, also learning more about Classical music and dance. She lived 5 months in the Ashram Gurudev Siddha Peet in Maharashtra State.In 2009 again she stayed both with Kalamandalam Sumathi and in the Ashram
In 2005, she lived 5 months in England teaching Fatosh Hardacre, who is the responsible for our branch in Turkey.
Naira, along with Iara is running the Brazilian Natyalaya since 2008.
